NMV in Kiruna has Norrbotten’s most modern plasma cutter

Nybergs Mekaniska Verkstad’s new AMG FSC-3500D plasma cutter combines 3D cutting with pipe cutting and is the only machine of its magnitude in Norrbotten County.

With a 5-axis cutting head, the versatile machine is capable of hole and bevel cutting and of cutting pipes from 50 mm up to 500 mm in diameter and in lengths up to 6 metres. The many cutting applications open up a whole new world of opportunity for Nybergs Mekaniska Verkstad.

The AMG FSC-3500D has a working area of 3 x 6 metres and the accompanying water table effectively improves the working environment by capturing particles and fumes. Since the new machine cuts significantly faster than the gas cutter it replaces, it is also a better alternative economically.
